It appears after they get a few bad reviews that they pump out some 4 star reviews to bring it back up. You will notice that there are clusters of 4 star reviews. The ratings are pretty easy to manipulate. One anonymous reader wrote in on how he created a bunch of fake accounts to bring down the rating a few stars, with fake 1 star reviews. However, in a couple of days a cluster of 4 star reviews suddenly appeared and voila, their rating came back up again.
