I had used the Boomerang DRS software (v1.1.2) ONCE in July 2008, and never used it again. I was a little skeptical when I learned of it's phone home requirements for each and every restore, but I wasn't using the software outside of the agreed upon usage terms, so I didn't think much of it.
4 months after the one and only time I had used the software, I started getting emails from BoomDRS telling me that my account was banned for license violations. I contacted support 3 different times, each time explaining that someone elses account had been mixed up with mine, providing specific details that pointed out the mixup within their system....."
